A 1.5 hour online workshop with Séamus Maynard, extending the written lesson Acting for the Stage which is from the 12-part course Speech and Drama as Living Arts. The lesson is sent in preparation. Open to everyone. For year-long course participants, a discount will be offered for this workshop.
While speech and movement practices shift our voices, bodies and imaginations towards the dramatic arts, there is an art to acting itself. Many practitioners have contributed to this artform; each with their own unique perspective of the whole. We will bring together the practices and insights from Konstantin Stanislovsky, Rudolf Steiner and Michael Chekhov. This webinar offers an overview, a practice and an entry point into this perhaps most human of artforms.
