Upcoming Workshops
On-line or in-person workshops introduce or deepen a lesson from a year-long course by exploring themes or points of view that support a living application of anthroposophy in the world.
In some cases a lesson is offered as pre-reading so that at the workshop it can be deepened.
Rudolf Steiner gave 12 virtues and 12 extensions of them in relationship with the zodiac. Lisa Romero has offered monthly contemplations on these virtues for the past 3 years.
In this online workshop Laura Summer will introduce an artistic practice for experiencing a virtue by determining the polarity in which it lives and, through painting, transforming these polarities into the virtue.
The workshop is live and will also be recorded.
Participants of Visual Art: Exercises in Painting and Color will automatically receive access to join live and watch the recording.

As we enter the second half of this year and a new level of our engaging with the future opens up to the collective consciousness, the uncertainty of the world’s direction continues to be felt by many. We are becoming familiar with the uncertain in our lives. For some, this creates such struggle or resistance and for others, it brings a new interest in what is coming into being and how we can be part of creating the future. For most it is both and we are learning to navigate where we give our time energy and attention.
The outer world race to dominate the new world is not the struggle or resistance we meet on the inner path. The inner struggle is the desire to hold onto the old self while stepping into a new way of being. However, as we each step into a new way of being, we are challenged to keep our focus on what we are becoming and not on the past way that clings and wants to come with us.
Michaelmas is a time to stand in this light of how the past becomes new, to find the pathway forward in our own lives and in our communities. It is Michael that leads humanity upward to the new way of being, not those who wish to dominate the new world.
In the preparation for Michaelmas, those who seek to help the future seek to deepen their relationship to Michael's task. We do this firstly within ourselves so that at Michaelmas we may be able to stand in the community of “when two or more gather” as this is a signature of future community building.

An offering in October 2022 from the Biodynamic Agriculture and Nutrition year-long course
with Anthony Mecca
The spiritual scientific insights behind biodynamics bring health and renewal to the relationships between our everyday acts in the world and the life of the earth. Building and strengthening these relationships both inwardly and outwardly, through practical engagement, can bring healing impulses for many of the ills of our time such as loss of biodiversity, erratic and extreme weather, degraded food quality, and challenges to human health. We will explore some fundamental aspects of biodynamics and how to bring them to the world as gardeners, farmers, eaters, lovers of nature, and participants in the life of the earth.
The speaking instrument is one of the important aspects of our work with children and youth. Where we speak from, our presence in our speech, how we choose to speak, all of this informs and shapes the inner and outer environment of education. In these 3 sessions, we will work to uncover and connect to the creative power of speech.
Session 1 - Orienting and Aligning the Speaking Instrument
Session 2 - Presence: Awakening to Listening and Speaking
Session 3 - Ensouled Speech | Carving inner landscapes of soul to support and educate a vibrant and healthy, inner life
This workshop series are recordings of live offerings by Seamus Maynard and Meaghan Witri, authors of the year-long course: Speech and Drama as Living Arts. The recording series is free to all those who are part of this year-long course.

Session 2: exercises, verses and mantras
Session 3: extinguishing the content while remaining inwardly active
Session 4: extinguishing towards deep meditation, and understanding the various experiences from meditating.

An EduCareDo Community Event with Anthony Mecca
Plants provide the basis for life on Earth. How do they grow and give? We will look at the stages of plant development and work to experience the plant's life step by step as an archetype for the development of life. This experience has great practical application for those working with the Earth as well as for anyone with an interest in the nature of life and how we ourselves may strive to grow and give.

This is an introduction to Inner Work Path’s Nature Spirits, Cosmic Spirits, and the Easter Mysteries gatherings sponsored by EduCareDo, which took place in February of 2021.
Understanding the living beings behind matter is a step from the world of senses into the elemental world. In the elemental world we know that everything has a being-ness or consciousness. As we gain an understanding or experience of the elemental world, our daily life is enriched and our responsible participation in the earth’s journey is deepened.
Elementals are deeply united to changes in climate and biodiversity. The balance of our world is their task as well as ours.
This recording is free to participants of the year long-course Inner Development for World Development and will be provided throughout the course.

During this webinar, we will discuss and engage in exercises to better understand the principles of living speech. Through working with speech it is possible to strengthen our connection with the nourishing forces that wish to participate in the living word.
“We must fill our souls with what can really inspire us when we speak. We must find a way to make the heart speak through the lips. We must find a way to penetrate the words with our entire being.” (Rudolf Steiner, from Empty Phrase to Living Word)
$20 AUD. Free to current or past participants in the Speech and Drama as Living Arts subject course.
Love is so fundamental to our wellbeing that even before we embark on a path of conscious inner development we are all called to find a relationship to some aspect of love. In EduCareDo’s foundation course we are introduced to these four aspects of love that we may develop in life; Sexual love, blood bond love, friendship love, and universal love.
In this webinar we will look towards the spiritual forces that are connected to these four loves and how we can connect healthily with what supports love in the world and grows love in our lives. This webinar is free for all EduCareDo course participants, past and present, regardless of the EduCareDo course in which you have enrolled. The webinar is open to all others for a $20AUD contribution. All participants will need to register even if it is just to receive the recording.

Working with Polarities in Social Life
An EduCareDo Community Event with Seth Jordan in November 2020
It is hard to think of a more divisive and polarized time in recent memory. Hostility between groups, whether political parties, economic classes, or racial and cultural factions, has reached such a pitch in the USA that it has been compared to a “cold civil war.” But we also know these states of opposition intimately from our own personal lives. And ultimately we must each take responsibility in order to bridge these divides.
In this webinar we will work to identify the ways in which we each engender and promote divisiveness in our own lives and in society, and the ways we can bridge such divisions through a truer seeing of the other. Building off of Rudolf Steiner’s work we will explore the idea of a multiplicity of perspectives as well as a multiplicity of functions, or gestures, within society, and try to see the inner practices and outer forms that can bring healing to them.
Standard Enrollment : $20 AUD
Participants of Transforming Society: Seeds for a New Social Understanding year-long course receive access to the recordings throughout the course.

“And what will sound from the spirit realms?”
All of the arts can bring the human being to an experience of our inner space and life. They can develop our capacity to listen to what lives within, what weaves throughout, and what sounds from spirit realms. Together, we will explore the arts of storytelling, music and singing as we look more closely at what stands behind these artforms in a spirit-led education for the future.
Supplemental reading included with registration: Spirit-led Education for a Spirit-led Life, Lesson: Music and Singing in Education by Meaghan Witri.

A recording of an online workshop with Lisa Bono held in April 2026. It complements the EduCareDo year-long course Laying Foundations Towards Inner Freedom in the Young Child.
What is a moral impulse?
What is your relationship to morality?
How do we imagine this for a child just born on the earth, and for the developing child? Why is this important for parents, educators and community members to contemplate?
We often place expectations on young children.
What does morality have to do with this and the ability for a young child to meet our expectations?
We hope you can join us as we come together around these questions and contemplations and look to find ways to work in freedom towards the future facing the challenges in these times.

1 lesson of the 12-part course Speech and Drama as Living Arts. The written lessons is complemented by The Art of Acting, a recording from an online workshop held in May 2026.
While speech and movement practices shift our voices, bodies and imaginations towards the dramatic arts, there is an art to acting itself. Many practitioners have contributed to this artform; each with their own unique perspective of the whole. We will bring together the practices and insights from Konstantin Stanislovsky, Rudolf Steiner and Michael Chekhov.

A recording of an online workshop with Anthony Mecca held in May 2026. It complements the 12-part Biodynamic Agriculture and Nutrition course. Open to everyone. Year-long course participants will automatically be enrolled for free.
Beyond nutrients, vitamins, and other common factors, nutrition includes non-material substances and forces. As a primary bridge between an individual and the world, nutrition encompasses everything we take in: food, the water, air, and warmth around us, sensory impressions, as well as cosmic and soul-spiritual aspects of our environment. We will explore foundations to create a healthy, individualized nutrition for human beings, farms, gardens, and landscapes, and their dynamic interplay.

Festivals of the Spiritual Year
EduCareDo hosts Inner Work Path events that follow the spiritual year and prepare for each festival.
Inner Work Path offers ways of engaging with esoteric studies. At the foundation of this schooling, which enlivens both ancient and modern practices, is the understanding of the evolution of consciousness. Through participating in the new mysteries re-enlivened by Rudolf Steiner which have been consciously shaping esoteric work for the past century, focus is placed on strengthening the human soul to fulfil the task of freedom and love to its highest degree.
A set of three Inner Work Path gatherings hosted by EduCareDo that were held in the lead up to Saint John’s Festival.
Register to access the recordings which will be available to view until the end of August. Each recordings is approximately 1.5 hours long.
Each year from Easter to Saint Johns we discover the transformation being asked of us and work to willingly live that transformation in the culmination of the Saint John's festival.
Un-freedoms that block our capacity to love are revealing themselves from many directions in life and yet simultaneously, the present development of the consciousness soul and its intimate link to the Spirit Self, the realm of the Angelic world, is quickening.
Saint John and the Saint John's festival can be an inspiration towards the willingness to change how we live in our lives. We do this on the path towards Love so that our future and the future for humanity willed with the spiritual world may come into being. It is a time to consider what the Higher I is leading us towards becoming, and what the Angelic world asks us to take into our own hands as we slowly but surely grow into becoming more free and loving people.

A 2 hour online workshop with Séamus Maynard and Meaghan Witri, extending the written lesson The Spiritual Origins of the Dramatic Arts and The New Mysteries which is from the 12-part course Speech and Drama as Living Arts. The lesson is sent in preparation. Open to everyone.
“In ancient epochs of humankind’s evolution, the dramatic arts were not thought of as separate from the spiritual world as they are today. The arts were practiced with the wholistic understanding of the spiritual life as intrinsically connected to the earthly life. Rudolf Steiner spoke of the importance of striving to comprehend the origin of the dramatic arts being synonymous with the ancient mystery streams or schools.”
